This wallpaper pattern was created for the Paris Déco Off 2019 contest.
It is inspired by fish displays I encountered in Thailand.
The whole marine world is found lying in an icy landscape. This accumulated beauty dazzles our eyes. We forget that their lives have ended and, only their pretty colors remain. However, the pacific blue shrimp are not forgotten. They radiate a morbid beauty, packed one tightly against the other.
This contrast between beauty and death  has led to the creation of this bright yet melancholic motif.
This wallpaper design reminds us of the beauty of shrimp in their details, while you are in a fish restaurant.

This  accumulation of beauty is stoning : we are forgetting that they aren’t a live anymore, only the beautiful colors stays. The blue prawns last in my memories for ever. They where so beautiful tighten again each others. This contrast between beauty and death, was the idea of this bright and melancholic pattern. This wall paper pattern remember the beauty of the prawns in their details, while you are in a fish restaurant.
