Metronomme is a project that was created for the Innovate Together Challenge Competition ( Le Défi Innover Ensemble) sponsored by the J.M. Weston Foundation.
This competition brings together three French higher education institutions. Les Compagnons du Devoir which is a school that trains master craftsmen, the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) which is an elite fashion management school, and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) which is a design school. Divided into mixed groups and in four months, from design to production to sales, a whole project was born.

 The Metronomme group has created a brand of the same name, of men's shoes for summer. Its motivation is to move the lines of the male cloakroom. With its specific selective slitting, and its assembly, which combines the sandalette and the lumiere montage, Metronomme offers beautiful lightweight shoes.

In addition, these shoes are designed for bare feet . The stylish openings bring freshness. The first insole (which is directly in contact with the foot in the shoe) is made of linen mesh, which allows temperature regulation. Designed like small socks wrapped around the first one of cleanliness, they can be washed and changed as needed. The shape of the shoe blends easily into an urban universe, for an elegant man, who is attached to beautiful products resulting from sophisticated know-how, but nevertheless looking for a touch of originality. Thus, Metronomme gives birth to a summer range of light shoes that punctuate the city dweller's movements. Metronomme, moves forward in the spirit of the times.

Metronomme is a urban men summer shoes brand.

With its special leather fabric cutting, it can create a lighter shoe. Some holes are bringing confort during hot summer, even if you want a urban look. Furthermore, the cleanliness insole has linen socks which can be washed and changed. That allows the Metronomme owner to wear them barefoot.
